more with the paint brush

None of the paintings are complete. I am creating them as I go along. Having fun with them, but nothing like the last minute to get 12 paintings and christmas cards (at 40) ready for Christmas. Sometimes I feel my best work is under presure. Here are 2 more pictures.

The picture with the crawfish will be heading to my brother in Texas. This picture is 90% complete.

The picture with fleur de lis will be going to my sister, Wanda and her hubby, Ray. She suggested that I do a painting with both saints and LSU, which is about 60% completed.

busy with the paint brush

I have been working on christmas gifts for family. I have 12 paintings (canvas) to do as couple gifts. here is a sneek preview of some of the picture. It is only a section of each picture. I still want it to be somewhat of a surprise to the people that will be receiving one.

this one with the oysters is going to be for a very special guy who I have known now for 28 years, my godchild and nephew.

This mardi gras one will be going to one of my hubby's sisters.

Halloween cards for the nieces and nephews

Here are 4 of the 7 halloween cards that I made. Forgot to take pictures of the other 3 before sealing them in their envelopes. Below is the inside of the middle card. The eyes are on accordin folded paper so the eyes pop out when the card is open. All the older nieces and nephews got explopding candy. I have to make a trip to the dollar store today to buy some soft candy for the 2 little ones that are only 2 years old.

My scrapping buddy, Peggy M made another 5 christmas cards.

My friend Peggy always helping new scrapbookers.

Peggy and I have went to a few crops at Scrappin Friendzee and when ever she sees a new face in the store. She take time out and introduces herself and helps them. This lady and her little girl came into the store with a stack of pictures. The lady was looking for someone to scrapbook the pages for her. Peggy said that she should scrap the pages herself because it is such a personal thing. Well the lady did not expect to be scrapping that day, but her and her daugther did 2 - two page layouts and a title page and she was hooked. Can't wait to see the finished album.
